Cowboy Jelly Cream Cheese Dip

This is our top favorite. Mix our medium low hot and spicy Cowboy Jelly with cream cheese and put it out for all to enjoy. It will be gone in 15 minutes tops. Great for taking to family get-togethers, parties, Christmas, New Years, Company party, you name it. You can also use our Jalafuego Jelly—it’s not as spicy as the Cowboy Jelly. Or use the Habanero Jelly—it’s 2-3 times as hot!

Ingredients:
8oz Jar of  Cowboy Jelly
8oz of Cream Cheese (softened well, two hours on the counter)
(You can make less or more — the best ration is a 1:1 ration, 1 part Cowboy jelly to 1 part cream cheese)

Directions:
Soften all the cream cheese for 60-120 minutes—it needs to be very pliable. Put all the cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Take HALF of the jar of jelly (4oz) and mix it well into the cream cheese. It should almost resemble a whipped cream cheese at this point (or if you like it more chunky, don’t mix it as well!). Or at least a very soft and spicy mix. Spread the mix onto a serving plate approximately 1/4″ thick. Take the remaining HALF jar of the jelly and spread it on top of the mix on the plate. Use solid crackers or plain tortilla chips (thick ones) to scoop the dip. If it’s too hot for you, use less of the jelly to suit your taste. If it’s not hot enough, use less cream cheese OR use the Habanero Jelly instead, which is much hotter. Play with the amounts. Enjoy!
